What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data we collect through enerzolve.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It applies to this website only. It does not cover metering or system data processed on behalf of a utility or enterprise customer under a separate commercial contract — in those engagements the customer is the data controller and their own privacy terms apply.

Information you give us

We only collect personal data that you choose to submit through one of our forms.

Enquiry and quote form (on the contact page and the homepage). When you submit this form we collect:

  • Full name
  • Company name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • The project details you describe
  • Any image file you choose to attach (JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WEBP, up to 10MB)

This form requires you to tick two consent boxes before it can be submitted: one confirming you agree to receive communications from us, and one confirming you agree to your data being stored and processed. We do not process an enquiry without both.

Career applications. When you apply for a role through the careers page we collect the information you enter in the application form, which may include your name, email address, phone number, location, current company, years of experience, current and expected compensation, notice period, cover letter, and the CV or resume file you upload.

Direct contact. If you email or call us, we hold the contents of that correspondence so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our pages, which helps us improve the content and structure of the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the type of device and browser you use.

Pages that show our office location embed Google Maps. When a map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set cookies under its own privacy policy. Our website does not otherwise track you across other websites, and we do not run advertising or remarketing pixels.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use this site.

How we use your information

We use the personal data described above only for the purposes it was given:

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation
  • To discuss a partnership, supply, or engineering engagement with you
  • To assess your application if you apply for a role with us
  • To send you information you have asked for, or that relates to an active enquiry
  • To understand and improve how this website performs
  • To meet our legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal data, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is necessary to run the site and our business:

  • Microsoft. Enquiry and career submissions are delivered to our corporate mailboxes through Microsoft 365 and the Microsoft Graph API.
  • Google. Analytics data is processed by Google, and embedded maps are served by Google.
  • Our hosting provider, which serves this website.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

Our service providers process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes beyond what their own terms and privacy policies describe.

International transfers

Enerzolve is based in India and the personal data you submit is processed here. Some of the service providers listed above operate globally, which means your data may be stored or processed on servers outside India. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' contractual safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to maintain a record of our commercial relationship, and then for as long as our legal, tax, and accounting obligations require.

We keep recruitment data for the duration of the recruitment process. If you are not appointed we may retain your application for a reasonable period in case a suitable role opens up, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.

How we protect it

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections to this website, access controls on the mailboxes and systems that receive form submissions, and restricting access to staff who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and request a copy
  • Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
  • Ask us to erase your personal data where we have no continuing need for it
  • Withdraw a consent you previously gave, at any time
  • Object to or ask us to restrict how we use your data
  • Raise a grievance about how we have handled your data

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@enerzolve.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Children

This website is intended for business and professional users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our site links to external sites, including press coverage of Enerzolve and our LinkedIn page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before submitting information to them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects how we handle your personal data, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
